Marista was founded in the late 1980s by singer / lyrics writer / musician / composer Marius de Boer. In the CD era, Marista knew how to do good business with its own stores and nearly 150 own sales points.
At the beginning of 2000, Marista made the transition to a music promotion company focussing on streaming and digital distribution.
At the end of the 10s of this century, Marista was converted to a digital and automated company focused on the release and distribution of vinyl, CDs and digital editions of singer / songwriters, world music and pop and rock bands. For the near future, Marista more and more on artificial music releases.
